An Open and Affirming Congregation 

The Christian Church of Pacific Grove declares itself to be an Open and Affirming congregation of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), professing that all people belong to God, and all means all. 

We set a place at the table for people of all gender identities and expressions, many of whom have known the pain of exclusion and discrimination by the Church and society. We celebrate the diversity that God has created and strive to reflect God's unconditional love by treating everyone with respect and dignity no matter what race, ethnicity, religious/nonreligious background, political stance, sexual orientation, or theological perspective.
